Sincerely, is an interactive art installation that invites the public of the Urbana-Champaign area to write messages anonymously to their past or future selves, and see others messages. The result is a disruption of the present in the audience's lives, creating a pause in their life to allow for self-reflection.

 

Inspired by Candy Chang's, "Confessions", the project welcomes people to write and to hang their messages on the walls of the gallery. 

What will happen with the messages?
Well, I hope to create a book from all the messages at the end in order to create a collection of submissions from the installation. All messages will be photographed and posted on this website for viewing after the completion of the exhibit. Until then, carry on! And come to the gallery! 

Sincerely, will be available for participation and viewing on November 6th through the 17th at the Bloc Gallery, located in the Art and Design Building at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

 

Opening night is Monday, November 6th at 7 P.M!
